Cassie Werber
Cassie Werber is a novelist, journalist, and teacher of creative writing. Her first novel OPEN SEASON, a deep dive into the lives and loves of two couples experimenting with open relationships, was published by Trapeze/Hachette in April 2024. Her second novel FIERCE COMPANY, about toxic masculinity, sex and secrets, is coming out in Spring 2026. As a journalist, Cassie has written recent high-profile features for The Daily Telegraph, the Guardian, Vogue, Red and the i Paper. She was senior reporter at Quartz covering business, the workplace, and climate change, and a reporter at The Wall Street Journal covering renewable energy and oil. She is also a regular guest on radio and television including Radio 4 Women’s Hour and appearances on CNN, Sky News, the BBC and NPR.
