Michelle Davies
Michelle Davies is a critically acclaimed crime fiction author and the Reader/Editor on our Writing a Psychological Thriller course. Her back list includes police procedurals and psychological thriller standalones, while her two most recent novels, The Seven and The Bait (written under the pen name Robyn Delvey), are bestselling legal thrillers.
Michelle’s speciality is story development and in particular helping writers to identify and remedy what’s working in their plot and what’s not. She’s coached hundreds of writers, including Sunday Times bestsellers, on crafting gripping page-turners, both as Reader/Editor and as an independent writing mentor. While she writes crime herself, she works across all genres.
Michelle is also a trained journalist with a background in editing and production and has a sharp eye for detail, structure and consistency. She’s also edited non-fiction for a Big 5 publisher.
